Membership Drive From October 1, 2011-June 1, 2012, for each two dues-paying practicing Dermatologists recruited by one current WDS member in this time frame, the current WDS member will receive free registration to the summer 2012 WDS meeting being held the weekend of July 20, 2012 at Glacier Canyon Lodge in the Wisconsin Dells. Current preliminary agenda includes interactive sessions on Dermoscopy, Contact Dermatitis/Patch testing as well as sessions on Complex Medical Dermatology, Cosmetic Dermatology and more.
With the goal to continue to build a strong community of Wisconsin Dermatologists, WDS sends a letter of congratulations to graduating Dermatology residents in the three Dermatology residency programs in Wisconsin and invites them to become WDS members at a reduced dues rate for their first year of membership.
Save the Date: The Wisconsin Dermatological Society bi-annual meeting will be held July 20-22, 2012 at Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference Center at the Wilderness in the Wisconsin Dells. Registration materials will be posted here and sent to members when they are available.
WDS is Dermatology Foundation Guest Lectureship Program Award Winner
The award provides support for a Dermatology Foundation-approved speaker to provide continuing medication education to our membership. WDS is proud to announce that De Anna Glaser, MD of St. Louis University will be our DF speaker for the summer 2012 meeting. Dr. Glaser is a Mohs surgeon and cosmetic Dermatologist who will speak about Cosmetic Procedure Updates and Practical Tips as well as Hyperhidrosis Management.
